Care Instructions

Clean your PowerLung product at least once a week to ensure proper operation. Use a mild dishwashing liquid such as Dawn® Original and Dawn® Pure Essentials dishwashing liquid that does not contain hand softening ingredients or anti-bacterial agents. Other cleaning products may damage or impair efficiency of your PowerLung.
Remove only the mouthpiece. Mix approximately 1 Tbsp. of dishwashing liquid and 1 pint (2 cups) of hot (not boiling) water into a container large enough to hold the PowerLung unit with mouthpiece beside it. Soak the PowerLung and mouthpiece in the solution for 20-30 minutes.
If 2 cups of solution does not cover your PowerLung due to the size of the container you may increase the dishwashing liquid and water respectively to maintain the same concentration of cleaning solution required to cover the PowerLung.
Remove the PowerLung and mouthpiece from the solution. Press in on the Inhale Control Dial and rinse both items thoroughly in warm water by allowing water to run over and through the unit.

Shake the PowerLung vigorously to remove all excess water. Dry outside with a clean towel or cloth. Continue to let both pieces air-dry overnight.

Reassemble the mouthpiece onto the PowerLung. Be sure to slide the mouthpiece into the divot as pictured. Your PowerLung should now be clean and ready for use.

CAUTION

  • Keep your PowerLung model out of the reach of children.
  • Do not disassemble your PowerLung model, except to remove the mouthpiece, unless otherwise instructed by a PowerLung representative.
