Many people have owned and used their PowerLung for 20+ years. That's right, some of the first ones we sold are still being used!

We understand that things sometimes happen in life that may require our customers to have their PowerLung repaired, from moving to a child taking the unit apart to a dog chewing on the unit. This service assures the most current parts for their models, regardless of when the customer purchased the product or any changes PowerLung has made to parts since the purchase whenever possible.

The PowerLung Repair Service includes:

  1. A full inspection of your PowerLung will be conducted to determine whether the product can be repaired and the steps and parts necessary to repair the product. (We will notify you if the product cannot be repaired; e.g. the dog chewed up too much of it or in a critical area.)
  2. Repair or replace with components that will bring your PowerLung to the current level, just like the models we are shipping.
  3. Packaging and return shipping to you by United States Postal Service First Class Mail with Delivery Confirmation Number. Other services are available at an additional cost.

PowerLung Repair Service Costs (for each unit):

Repair Service – $40.00
(including label to send for repair and Return Shipping and Handling by USPS First Class Mail)

Care Instructions

Clean your PowerLung product at least once a week to ensure proper operation. Use a mild dishwashing liquid such as Dawn® Original and Dawn® Pure Essentials dishwashing liquid that does not contain hand softening ingredients or anti-bacterial agents. Other cleaning products may damage or impair efficiency of your PowerLung.
Remove only the mouthpiece. Mix approximately 1 Tbsp. of dishwashing liquid and 1 pint (2 cups) of hot (not boiling) water into a container large enough to hold the PowerLung unit with mouthpiece beside it. Soak the PowerLung and mouthpiece in the solution for 20-30 minutes.
If 2 cups of solution does not cover your PowerLung due to the size of the container you may increase the dishwashing liquid and water respectively to maintain the same concentration of cleaning solution required to cover the PowerLung.
Remove the PowerLung and mouthpiece from the solution. Press in on the Inhale Control Dial and rinse both items thoroughly in warm water by allowing water to run over and through the unit.

Shake the PowerLung vigorously to remove all excess water. Dry outside with a clean towel or cloth. Continue to let both pieces air-dry overnight.

Reassemble the mouthpiece onto the PowerLung. Be sure to slide the mouthpiece into the divot as pictured. Your PowerLung should now be clean and ready for use.

CAUTION

  • Keep your PowerLung model out of the reach of children.
  • Do not disassemble your PowerLung model, except to remove the mouthpiece, unless otherwise instructed by a PowerLung representative.
